The trench coat is something that we’ve all seen and deemed to be either in style or not, as it generally comes down to the individual case. This year, one of the biggest fashion statements would have to be the trench, at least for the spring season. When it comes to the trench, especially this year with some impeccable styles, there is a slighter chance that anyone can actually go wrong with their option. The trench coat is something that has been improved throughout the years, and even though there are people who don’t like wearing them, they will still do well. It’s mostly important that it coordinates with most things in the closet. Also, one of the most important things would have to be the buttons and the belt that go along with the trench. Be sure that they’re fun, fashionable, and also can be matched with some very nice boots or heels.

There are some things in fashion that just stand the test of time. We’ve seen many different things that are timeless, jeans, plaid, leather, are just to name a few. Something else that definitely ages well is the pea coat, and this year, it is certainly no different. In the colder months, we all want something that can keep us warm, but we also want something that looks excvellent at the same time. No one wants to look bad, even though they may be fighting the cold. Fortunately, a pea coat will do just that, and when paired with other accessories, it can really make a person look their very best.
For this season, probably the best way to go would happen to be of the double breasted variety. It’s a classic look that doesn’t seem to be loosing any steam, as long as the buttons flow well with the cut and color of the coat itself. The pea coat warrants other items to look just as stylish, so there’s no room to slack in other areas. Sleek lace up boots of an complimenting color work very well here, and we definitely can’t forget about the scarf. Also, the shirt underneath isn’t too much of a concern here, as long as it flows naturally with the coat, or maybe a slight contrast in color, just don’t get too out of control with it.
The pea coat is one that will make any outfit look great, and even improve the look of an outfit that may be a little flat.
